If youre below 50, oo3n a LISA. The government lump in for you. If you put 4 grand in it becomes 5 grand straight away. 25% plus yoyr interest.

Most high interest savings accounts only pay interest on sums UP TO £3k.

Russia’s interest rate is 7-8% if you want to risk your money in a Russian bank.
Personally I think that low interest rates are here to stay. That means that property is easy to pay off, so if you have enough money, property in an area with potential is the way to go.
Don’t blame me, though, if you lose all your money on either of these suggestions.

Strictly speaking a cassino is an instant 100% yield instantly and most bank interest is yearly.
You only put money in a bank if you don’t want to spend it or risk it.
If you want a return you need to take a risk.
I recommend putting it in an isa and putting into fundsmith.co.uk
It’s made an average of about 17% a year since inception in 2012. It’s up about 12% this year. With a million quid in it that’s £120,000.
You go putting in some shit bank for someone else to make 12% though if you want.

Are you talking long term, as in retirement planning?
Use your ISA limit and look into buying exchange traded funds (ETFs) . Vanguard is very well regarded in the industry.
